What vaccinations are required for puppy socialization?
We require attendees to have their complete vaccinations including Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella.
What is the age range for puppy socialization?
Our puppy socialization is designed for pups under 10 months of age. Puppies are welcome to join us as soon as they have their complete vaccinations, which is often around 4 months old.
When do sessions take place?
Puppy socialization takes place on select Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am. Give us a call to see when our next session will be!
How do you keep the puppies safe?
Our program is built for maximum safety and wellness. Our staff members are highly trained and certified in group play safety, canine body language, pet first aid, and even canine CPR. Every session is fully supervised and our caregivers actively promote positive interactions and behaviors.
Our play yards are extremely secure and security-monitored 24/7, and our building is equipped with sophisticated air filtration and climate control systems. Additionally, we deep-clean our entire facility every day with veterinary-grade disinfectants and maintain strict vaccination requirements.
Each session is limited to a small number of attendees to maximize the safety, supervision, and comfort of every pup. Ample fresh water is always available, and we carefully monitor the body language, mood, and wellbeing of every puppy. Rest breaks are scheduled throughout the day to keep the pups recharged and rested. Don’t hesitate to ask us any questions you may have about our safety protocols.
Is a reservation required?
To maintain an appropriate group size and ensure appropriate vaccinations for all attendees, we do require reservations for puppy socialization. Just call us to register!
Are there breed restrictions?
Four Paws Inn welcomes dogs of all breeds for all of our services. We can’t wait to meet your pup, no matter who or what they are!
Does the pet parent stay for the session?
Like human children, puppies tend to behave differently in the presence of their families. We ask pet parents to drop off their puppies and leave them with us for the course of the session. At pickup, we’ll tell you all about what your puppy did and the friends that they made. Don’t hesitate to ask our knowledgeable staff about puppy care!
Will my puppy be around adult dogs?
No—puppy socialization takes place in a dedicated area separate from the rest of our guests. Your youngster will only come into contact with other vaccinated pups around their own age.
Can my older dog join in?
Puppy socialization is designed for puppies up to 10 months old, but older dogs are more than welcome to play and socialize with us in our regular daycare program. Click here to read more!
